Delta's Unique Process

Welcome to Delta Softwash, a local company with an exceptional reputation for customer service and quality results! At Delta, we use an innovative process called soft washing. Soft washing is the environmentally friendly alternative to ineffective and damaging pressure washing. We use water-based, biodegradable chemicals to emulsify dirt and grime. It kills mold, mildew, algae and bacteria, all while sanitizing the surface that is being cleaned. Soft washing uses one-third the water of pressure washing and lasts four to six times longer than regular bothersome pressure washing. This method is perfect for homes, businesses or large commercial projects.

What Is Soft Washing?

Most people know or have seen how pressure washing or power washing can remove dirt and grime from exteriors, particularly patios, walkways, and driveways. However, this type of cleaning isn’t always the best option for all surfaces. In fact, the high-pressure jet of water they use can exceed 2,000 PSI in some cases, which is hard enough to cause serious damage to surfaces. This means stripping paint or stain off of wood and siding, prying mortar out of brick, ripping stucco off of walls, and even blasting granules right off of roof shingles.

Soft washing takes a different approach. Rather than using harsh chemicals to augment a jet of water at extreme pressures, soft washing uses eco-friendly soaps and degreasers to gently lift dirt and grime out of surfaces, including porous surfaces like concrete and wood. Once applied, our technicians wash away the soap and grime using a jet of water that measures only a few hundred PSI—a much lower amount of power that won’t cause extensive damage to any potentially compromised surfaces or materials.
